Management team acquires Swindon semiconductor foundry business from MHS Electronics UK Limited
HMT Corporate Finance, led by partner Bruce Morrison, advised management on its acquisition of the semiconductor foundry business of MHS Electronics UK Limited from its joint administrators. The Swindon facility’s management team worked with JSFM Consulting Limited, a business consultancy practice of whom MHS UK was a client, to put together a competitive bid. The business will trade as Plus Semi, a trading division of JSFM Consulting.
Semiconductor manufacturing has been present at the Plus Semi site in Cheney Manor, Swindon since 1956. The process technologies developed at the site are used in telecommunications, automotive, military, industrial and commercial applications.
